LEE HARVEY OSWALD, ARREST CAPTURE MOVEMENT AFTER JFK ASSASSINATION, WAS IT A CONSPIRACY.

After the encounter in the lunchroom with Officer Baker and the Superintendent of the Building Roy Truly, Oswald was seen about one minute later by Mrs. R. A. Reid the clerical supervisor for the Texas School Book Depository (TSBD) she saw him walk threw the clerical office carrying a full bottle of Coca-Cola. This would be approximately 2 - 3 minutes after the last shot.

Mrs. Reid said Oh the President has been shot, but maybe they didnt hit him., Oswald mumbled something and walked by and apparently out the front door.

Approximately 3 minutes after the shooting the police began to seal off the building.

The time now would be approximately 12:35 P.M. CST.

Oswald then walk out to the front of the TSBD and in to the turmoil which he or someone had just caused. He then probably walked east on Elm Street for about seven blocks to the corner of Elm and Murphy and boarded the Lakewood - Marsalis bus that was heading back towards the TSBD and to the Oak Cliff section of Dallas where his boardinghouse was.

Incidentally this bus would have made a stop much closer to Jack Rubys apartment then it would have Lee's boardinghouse. Unlike the Beckley bus that was right behind it.

The bus would become mired in traffic and after about 4 minutes Oswald would get a transfer from the driver and exit the bus.

It was about this time that a Dallas County deputy sheriff Roger D. Craig would claim that he saw someone that he would later identify as Lee Oswald, running down the hill by the TSBD and get into a light-colored Rambler station wagon. This was corroborated by another Dallas County deputy sheriff who was not identified.

Here is a photo taken at 12:40 PM. Showing what appears to be a Rambler station wagon in front of the School Book Depository.

( This is on Elm St, the Street Craig saw the Rambler was a side Street directly in front of the Depository. )  For what it's worth.

After leaving the bus at Lamar and Elm Street, Oswald would walk 4 blocks south to the Greyhound Bus Station at Lamar and Jackson where he would take the cab of William Whaley. But first he offered the cab to a women who also need one.

Warren Commission Time 12:48 P.M.

Whaley asked Oswald where he wanted to go and Oswald replied 500 North Beckley.

This would be Approximately a 3 mile drive. And with sirens blazing and Police cars crisscrossing everywhere: 

Whaley would say,  What the hell. I wonder what the hell is the uproar, Oswald never said anything.

According to Whaley I got pretty close to 500 block at Neches and North Beckley which Is the 500 block, he said , This will do fine. ***  He gave me a dollar bill, the trip was 95 cents. He gave me a dollar bill and didnt say anything, just got out and closed the door and walked around the front of the cab over to the other side of the street."

William Whaley, "He showed no respect for the policemen, he told them what he thought about them,
 They knew what they were doing and they were trying to railroad him and he wanted his lawyer."
